Yellowstone, Part 1

I meant to do this last week, but I’ve been worked to the bone by the packing Nazi (love you Mom!).   Yellowstone National Park is about a 2 hour drive from my husband’s home town.  Of course, growing up there, Andy isn’t always fond of visiting the park, but with triple digits in Montana in July, visiting the park with temps in the 80s was blissful.

First, we begin with mine and Andy’s traditional photo - we take a photo of ourselves at various locations.  Yes, I’m short.  I’m even on my tip toes.

Anyone know where we are??????

Next, here’s the whole family.  Someone was not impressed with the particular site we were seeing at this stop in the park.   You know, the most famous aspect of the park?

Okay, guessed where we are yet?  One more clue.

Old Faithful is currently erupting on a 92 minute schedule.  It does change occasionally, particularly after an earthquake in the area.

I’m having some difficulty posting a few other photos, so I’ll end today with just Old Faithful.  I hope to go back next summer and camp for a few days on our summer trip to Montana.  It’s one of my favorite spots to visit.
